I have a website, UMhoops.com, and was checking it's Google positioning and discovered something very odd.

If I search for [michigan basketball], I come up 8th.

But if I search for [michigan basketball blog] (I come up first) and then I search for [michigan basketball] (in the same browser window) I come up 3rd instead of 8th.

This is most likely some sort of glitch, maybe even with my cache, but I found it very odd. Has anyone else ever noticed anything like this?

Do you click on your link after the first search? Could that have affected your ranking? I'm sure Google takes into account clicks on search results in their pagerank algorithm. What do you think?
